38 weeks. A couple days before delivery.
In the 'prep' room. I don't know what it's actually called, but just waiting to be rolled into the O.R.
We rolled into the O.R. at 7:38 (I heard the doc repeat that time probably 15 times, that's how I know) and at 8:04 our baby was born. Aren't you just dying to know if we had a boy or a girl? ...................Well..................

I was so surprised, and to be honest I'm still not used to the fact that we have a girl!
She weighed 7lbs 12 oz and is 21 3/4" long.
Since I had a c-section, her head is perfectly round and she has no bruises or bumps or anything. she is completely perfect and beautiful!!
We named her Emma Louise.

The boys came to the hospital to visit and were SO excited to hold the baby and see their new baby sister--Everett especially.

Oh I am sooo excited for you guys! I'm so glad that everything went so well. And by the way, you totally look like a model right after you had that baby...amazing! Welcome to the world of girls, they are fun (and a bit dramatic :) ). Wish we were there so I could meet her in person. I hope everything is going well.

Congratulations!!! That is so exciting that you guys now have a little girl in the family. Maybe her and our little one can hook up one day. She will only be about one month older than him! What do you think?

Congratulations! What a beautiful new addition to your already adorable family. I mean really, WOW, how lucky are you, I had to wait until Grandchildren to get a little girl! You are a fantastic Mom.
