Back in January (or February I can't remember) I started a little group called
mom's that get out of the house with some friends of mine here in Memphis. It's basically a group of mom's that get together for outings. We've been on quite a few different things. We've gone to the fire station, the park, the play place at the mall, and a few other places. But when it was my turn to plan the outing, I really wanted to do something we wouldn't have otherwise done. So we went to
Bruster's Real Ice Cream and helped them make the ice cream. Everett loved it.
We made oreo ice cream and while we were breaking up the oreos, he'd eat one and then break one, eat one, break one. I don't think the health department would approve! We had a great time!
Here's most of the kids outside enjoying the sunshine and their ice cream. I have to admit, I felt like a pretty cool mom that day. Everett was in heaven! (and Ryan of course loved the ice cream too)

What a fun group! You are creative. I love the idea of getting out with friends. Being a mom is a lot of work and it helps to have friends that understand.

That's a great idea to do activities with other moms and the kiddies. We have a play group every Friday, but we just meat at the park or church. I'll have to mention your great ideas.
