For Family Home Evening last night we 'planted' our garden and read Alma 32 about how faith is like a little seed, if planted it will grow (does anyone else have the primary song going through their head?). We started all our seeds that we're going to plant. What an easy way to get a head start to your garden!
This year we're doing a square foot garden in our backyard. I hope it produces yummy veggies!

I'm so jealous! i told brian i wanted to plant a garden this summer but he said i would be way too busy with a new baby to pay attention to it, let alone weed it. maybe he is right. or maybe he is just looking for an excuse not to help me do it :) so i am going to settle with doing potted tomatoes and some flowers outside the front door.
and hello, ryan is a little mini erick! he is so cute...
i got a new phone number by the way, in case you tried to return my call sunday. i turned off my old phone but need to leave a message directing people to my new number. ill email it to you right now!
That's smart to start everything indoor early. I tried the square-foot deal a couple summers ago and wasn't that great at it. We just do the traditional rows now which just seems to work for us. I'm so excited for fresh produce! There's nothing like picking it from your garden and then eating it that night. Such a difference in taste:) Good luck with everything and definitely share your tips!
