Another Day Another Place

Isn't it true that the only constant we can count on in life is change? Well, we've done it again! We've changed where we live. We're now in Memphis renting a cozy little home and loving it. Sadly, the financing for our house didnt' go through, but is anyone surprised given the current market? Oh well, I guess it wasn't meant to be. When we get everything cleaned up and put away I'll post some pictures of our new place, but right now it looks like a war zone so I'll spare you. Instead here's some of the things we've been up to lately (as if moving cross country wasn't enough).

We went to see all the church history sights in MO including: Adam-ondi-Ahmen, Indepnedence, and Far West. We'd already seen Liberty. Everett had a great time playing on the horse and other toys at the Independence visitor center.
A lovely stroll through Adam-Ondi-Ahmen
Everett loved the fence at the Far West temple sight. Go figure. Easy to please kids! He also loves cleaning rocks in his mouth! Somehow he chipped one of his front teeth??

We made carmel apples...our mouths got glued shut cause the carmel was so sticky!! YUM!On the way to Memphis, we had planned to stop at the St. Louis zoo, but it was raining, so we decided on the second best thing, McDonald's play place! Everett had so much fun, maybe even more fun than if we had stopped at the zoo.

Now that we finally have all of our stuff with us (Horray!!, first time in 1 1/2 years) we decided to celebrate by using it! We went on a little family bike ride. Everett loves the easy ride, and it's a great workout for us.

This is by far the thing that keeps Everett's attention the very longest! This is his favorite game. If you lose the ball, he even goes to get it and comes back, just like a puppy. Only so much cuter cause he doesn't bark, smell, leave hair everywhere, lick perfect strangers, poop in the yard (at least not yet), or anything else that dogs do. Plus, he can now make the sound of monkeys--I'd like to see a dog do that!
