Holy Flooding Batman!

The Wolf River is about 2 miles from our house . It is usually low and slow. But with 2 weeks of tornado weather, this thing is TOTALLY overflowing. The flooding is crazy. Erick and I went canoeing down this river back in March and it was probably 50 yards wide. I'd be willing to bet the river is now a couple miles wide. It is covering a HUGE portion of land.

I took this picture as we drove by it this morning. It's coming onto the street which is normally several hundred yards away from the river.
This one is showing a fence and on the right side is a garbage can that sits about 4 1/2 feet tall.
Can you see the stop sign?
All this weather has been crazy, but I think the flooding is just beginning.

P.S. The picture of Everett and Ryan hugging on the top of the blog was taken on the Wolf River trail. That bridge is no longer even above water.
