I am so behind on blogging...I've sorta felt like, oh well. I don't even care. When truthfully, I really do want to remember ever fun thing we do together as a family, every cute thing the boys do or say, every little moment of life. I absolutely LOVE being a mom. I feel so blessed to have 3 little children that light up my life in so many ways. I feel overwhelmed with gratitude for each of them, for my sweet husband that plays with them, teaches them, loves them, and loves me! I am really, really happy in life right now. I feel like I'm on top of the world (not the blogging world mind you =) ). So, yes I'm behind on blogging, but for today, I'm just going to relish in the moment of my son's birthday.
Today is Ryan's birthday. He's 2!! I can hardly believe that he is already 2. Was it two years ago that I had been in labor for 6 hours already and still went to a Relief Society activity because I wanted to be there so bad, and I knew I'd probably be fine, so why not go?? Has it already been two years since we had THE hardest time figuring out a name for the little guy? When did he start walking, talking, jumping, running, laughing, kissing, hugging???!!!! The time has gone too fast!
For F.H.E. tonight we are having a special night to celebrate Ryan. I made a carrot cake with carrot juice (I am really hoping that it's actually edible). And, I made a DVD of pictures of him throughout his life and put it to music. As I was watching the preview I really did get choked up. I can't believe how incredibly blessed I am. I was also filled with so much love for my sweet baby Ryan. He is so funny!
A few things I am loving about him right now:
- gulk=milk
- i wuv oo
- peeeeez=please
- O Kay...so cute the way he says it
- he loves giving BIG hugs and sweet little kisses
- he is a major grazer! no matter what I'm eating he is always saying, 'I wan sum'
- he has an infectious smile
- he's tough, tough, tough!
- he is determined. the other day he insisted on roller skating across the kitchen floor despite falling on his face (literally) 4 or 5 times. He did it too!
- he gets so proud of himself. when he does something challenging for him he says, 'I did it!'
- he hides under the end table when he's playing with something he shouldn't be.
- he is so obedient. He usually does what I ask the first time I ask.
- He's happy almost all the time.
- He's a snuggler! I love post-nap time. He sits on my lap and just rocks with me for 10 or 15 minutes
- He's totally into singing and dancing. He knows: Jesus wants me for a sunbeam, Joy to the World*, Silent Night*, Once there was a snowman, the rock-a-bye song that my mom taught me, and tons more from a music class that we go to each week. When we listen to CDs in the car, he know the next song and starts singing before it even comes on!
I could go on and on. I love that boy so much! I'm really happy and thankful that he came to our family!

Jenn, Hows your cute little family.
Who know your sister in law and I probably ran by each other at some point, there were so many runners. I had to get up at 5 a.m 3-4 times a week to get ready for my run. If I can do you definitely can do it.
What a cute little boy! And how lucky he is to have such a great mommy!! I sure miss you. I totally forgot to call you back this weekend, so sorry! I'll try and give you a call tomorrow while the kids are napping (hopefully I'll catch your nap time too :) )
This is so sweet. I'm glad you feel on top of the world with the 3 little ones. And your little guy Ryan is so cute! i read every little thing about him and you'll be so glad you took that time to blog when he's older.
