We went to a pumpkin patch. Everett absolutely loved it and wanted to pick all the pumpkins. Ryan was also just at enthusiastic as you can tell from his face in the picture below.


We let Everett pick out this pie pumpkin. In the picture below he could hardly stand still long enough to take it. He was so excited to show us his pumpkin and talk all about it.
He seemed to understand that we were going to eat the pumpkin...he just didn't catch the connection of how.

After the pie was made he seemed to catch the vision a little better. Now every time we see a pumpkin he doesn't just call it a pumpkin, he calls it a 'pumpkin pie'. It is so cute. We still have another pumpkin to make a pie with so he'll get his wish.
