For FHE tonight we had a lesson on different fruits and vegetables that we eat (showing Everett different pics of fruits and vegetables and having him say the names of them). Then we built a planter box and planted spinach in it. By we I mean Everett and Erick. Ryan and I cheered them on.
Before.
This is a pile of fence boards that we are reclycling thanks to our neighbors...watch for more projects to come.
During.
Everett loves to watch Bob the Builder and knows all the tools and what they do. His favorite is the 'hammy' (hammer). He is so proud of himself.

After.
We also replanted our dead bonsai trees...hopefully they will come back to life?
It started to rain in the middle of the project...we took a break.
This is our first product from our garden (we have a 100' X 25' garden at Shelby Farms). It was DELICIOUS!! And Everett wanted to eat it right then. I think he thought it was a banana....close.
Tonight we had beets and a bell pepper from our garden too. The best news is Everett loves beets!!

Oh no, did Maximillian die? What sad news! It looks like you guys are doing so well and happy!
Wow, every mother's dream, that her kids love veggies. Good luck with the bonsai trees.
What a great FHE activity! I can't wait until Alan and I have kids so that we can teach them fun things! :)
