We went to see Fiddler on the Roof last night with the guy that acted Tevye in the movie! It was incredible! The orchestra played phenomenally, the cast was perfect (of course), the set was extremely well done...the entire production was incredible! And, obviously it was a tear jerker! I love being able to enjoy other people's talents.BTW, did you know that Topol is 73 and still performing?!! He did such a great job, you'd never think that he has performed Fiddler on the Roof over 2500 times. He was still full of energy and fun.

Fun! I saw it back in 1992! It is still one of my favorites! I'm jealous we didn't get to see it on his last run!
Okay, you have totally sold me! Since reading your post, I have been online searching out where the nearest city his tour will be in, and now I'm planning a trip to Chicago in June...all thanks to you! :) I've never seen Fiddler on the Roof EVER and I'm craving some good old artistic culture in my life! :) So thanks!
wow, I was surprised to see that Topol is even still alive! He seems so old in the movie. How awesome that you got to see him perform!
Fiddler totally reminds me to Mr. Vel and Band:). I loved movie days and that musical was good!
