Memphis in May
There is a big, month long celebration here in Memphis called Memphis in May. I think it's mostly an excuse to drink...but there is good music, and of course BBQ...although Erick and I didn't do much in the way of actual Memphis in May events, we did have our own little Memphis in May excursion.We stopped by Qdoba's and picked up dinner--Yum! and then headed down town to have a picnic and watch the sunset at the Mississippi. It was beautiful and so fun!
After dinner we walked around down town and went to the cheese cake corner for dessert. If you live in Memphis or ever visit Memphis this is a MUST!! It was SUPER good. I think the best cheesecake I've had (and I've had NY cheesecake, Cheesecake Factory, Ruths Chris, homemade....basically I'm a cheesecake connoisseur=) ) and the atmosphere was pretty unique and enjoyable too.

We saw a 2 trolley, 2 car accident at Beale Street. Looks like that cab driver had a bad day.AND...I got a hair cut! I love it!

i love your haircut! and the sunset picture is absolutely gorgeous. ive only seen the mississippi briefly, when visiting nauvoo,and it was in the daytime. now i want to see a sunset!
