A pink baby

In honor of Valentine's Day and my ever growing belly, I decided to make a pink maternity skirt. My friend Abby put a tutorial on how to make one on her blog and I could hardly wait for Everett's nap the next day. I had so much fun making this! I even took the time to draft up my own pattern. This is my test run of the pattern, and I think it turned out pretty good. It has a few kinks to be worked out, but I'm excited to make another one...hopefully I can get that done before this baby comes!

jenn, you seriously are so talented. here i have a mom that graduated in interior design and can sew anything, and i can only sew buttons back on. but i am quite proud of my recent purchase. we had some amazon gift cards that we found and i used them to buy a sewing machine! now i don't have to borrow lisa's all the time :)the trick will be learning to sew! thank goodness my mom is coming up in 2 weeks...im going to have her teach me EVERYTHING now that i am finally at an age where i will remember :)
